UNIMAS , UMS, UNISZA interview experience
hi, there guys. In this blog i will be sharing about my unimas, unisza and ums interview experience to all the medic maniacs out there . Bur before that, if u havent read my previous blog about the pathway to become a medic student.
jom lets start, everything begins with my upu , my 1st 4 choice were unimas, ums, usm and unisza. all of them, medicine course. when the upu interview result announce, i got interview call frm unimas, ums, and unisza. but, wen the time i get to knw, its already too late for me to prepare all the doc, but i still manage to do it. guys, my personal advice pls get pengesahan for all our documents eventhough they didnt mention anything in the interview call letter and pls do bring along all your original certificates.
UNIMAS
My interview session was on morning and it was held at a hotel near somewhere sunway putra( sorry..lol..cant remember the hotel's name). when, i was registering , there was almost 700 students. for your info, there will some students who applied for seni bina course , attending with your in your session. after registering, we were given numbers . pls.... dont forget the number, its important as that shows which panel , will be interviewing u. plsss...do also sahkan your kehadiran before coming to the interview(iv) session via online, coz during my time, there was a huge issue regarding this two matters.
after 2 hours, there called me, and i entered the room. there were 2 panels, and yeah... its a 1 by 2 iv.
as usual, they asked me to introduce myself, and then they introduce their-selves to me. i was in teriified shocked after get to know them, coz one of them was the dean of medical faculty and the another one was the head of MD course department. but, i try to stay calm .
the 1st question was why u wan to be a doctor?
2nd, what made u to choose unimas?
3rd tell what makes unimas so special?
4th, can u adopt new culture?
5th, can your parents , fund u, coz the flight tickets are expensive?
6th, why, we have to choose you?
7th, what if you fail, in all exam?(i answered, that i will repeat again without giving up)
8th, lol.... they asked the same.... wat if u fail again even after repeating?( i answered as previous also)
9th...they asked the same, question(3x times)(advice: they are trying to break your confident and making you confuse, dnt fall for it, always try 2 attack back by saying i wont let it happen)
When answering all the question, try be as honest as possible and dont worry the panel will treat u good,but always give a nice smile and makesure your appearance is smart, well groomed.
plssss...for sake of your own good, dnt read articles of medicines and diseases, they are not goin 2 ask, just prepare u self with current events in our country and do deep research about unimas too.
UNISZA
The iv was held at kuala terrengganu, so i have to take a flight to terrenganu by myself, but omg ...it was the best experience. my session was in the morning , so i had to go 1 day earlier. The, next day, after registration, we were all asked to wait at outside. there was around 200 students in my session, i also heard there 2 sessions a day, and the whole iv session is for 3 days, so obviously , there was a high competition. i personally feel like the unisza iv, was not well coordinated as, there asked us to wait , at corridor , and the managements was really bad. when i entered the panel's room, there was 2 panels(similar like unimas). but, for unisza there is a format in interview session, the 1st task is normal iv q and a session, 2nd task is , there will randomly pick a situation , and ask to solve it, and the last task is they will ask to explain about a disease and how u will aid according to the given situation. FOR THE LAST TASK, YOU SHOULD ANSWER IN BAHASA MELAYU(BAHASA BAKU).
ALL, THE QUESTION THEY ASKED WAS ALMOST SAME LIKE UNIMAS............BUT.................
KILLER QUESTION: as unisza was my 3rd option, they asked me, why i didnt consider unisaz as my 1st option. what makes you to place unisza in the 3rd option? what if you get offer from your 1st option university, will u reconsider to enter unisza, IF YES why dont just have placed unisza as your 1st option in upu earlier.
MY ADVICE: pandai-pandai jawab, coz i also sucked in that part
UMS
ums did a 2 days iv, where the 1st they will do a IQ test , and from that test result, they will tapis , and will only pick 70 students. during my time, there was 300+ students on the 1st day, after there test they will notify the successful candidates via sms before 11pm(but i received the sms around 1.30am). the 2nd iv was held at ukm campus(guys plsss dnt confuse with the main campus, i did the mistake, it was held at the medic campus at kl. there was oni around 70 students on that 2nd day. it was a group iv, so they will seperate us into few groups, each group consist of 5. my groupmates were so nice and friendly. as i was in the last group, i waited almost 4 hours( same as unisza, the managment was really bad as asked us to sit a corridor , on the ground).
the panels were so friendly and nice, they did asked almost the same question as previous universities but MY ADVICE: GET SOME EXTRA KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ANY TROPICAL DISEASES, if your u dnt have the knowledge ..plsss dont try act smart, tey will somehow will trap u.
Thats all frm me, but my last advice, dont stress out yourself b4 iv, and although u cant answer the panel's question, dnt give up, be confident, but at the same time dont act like tooo smart. if they panel ask u, do u have anything to ask, pls ask something, that shows your interest towards the field. TQ, BYE, LOVE U ALL.

Is there any special programmes conducted by UniSZA for mbbs programme?
